Water polo is probably my favorite sport in the world, but it's somewhat obscure. I have to scour the listings at the summer Olympics to find out when it airs. On the swim team in HS it was a reward to play water polo instead of swimming laps during practice, but water polo is actually a brutal sport. Essentially what it boils down to is that if you're playing competitively, there are rules, but the referees can't see what's going on underneath the water. Therefore, you're getting kicked and punched below the water level quite intensely. There is actually a historical water polo match called the Blood in the Water Match that was interesting enough to warrant a Quentin Tarantino-produced documentary called Freedom's Fury. So, yeah, I love water polo... and toplessness.
