wow. that is bad. i can't stand racist people, or any bigots for that matter, but when a gay person is racist, it really gets my blood boiling. it's incredible. did anyone say anything at all? i would have been at a loss for words at first, but i know i couldn't have kept my mouth shut for long, because i just have to stand up against that mess. i know its unrealistic, but gay people (or any oppressed minority) should know better. people amaze me. they really do.

I made the unpopular decision a long time ago that if I allowed racist or homophobic comments to pass unchallenged, I was in fact condoning them. It has cost me a few friendships over the years, but in retrospect they are not people I truly wanted to be friends with anyway.
I am so sorry that you ran across one of these idiots in a private social setting. I know first hand how it can sour your outlook on life for days after the event transpired.
I would hope that if Lee is a friend of yours that he would dump that loser immediately. By allowing such people to believe that their racist views are acceptable, we merely prolong their existence.

Yeah, we were all in a GREAT state of shock, but you better believe that we said something! We all played it cool until Chad left the party, & then we kicked the A*hole out. The other thing that shocked us was that we all just meet this jerk! What in the world makes people think that they can just blurt that sorta shit out around people they don't even know? Here is another odd thing about him, Lee gave him a brat to eat, & later after they left our friend Jeff found that brat floating in Erin's toilet. What a freaken nut! There are soooo many things wrong with someone like that. Now Erin is afraid that he knows where she lives, for all we know he could be some nut trying to kill homosexual's & there friends.
