Wolfgang got sick. I've had him since January of 2003 and he has never been sick. But 2 nights puking on my bed, 2 days of yucky stuff coming out his butt had me worried. He seems to be much better today. He just ate a wee bit of kibble and he's tearing around the house. The drugs he's taking make him really, really sleepy. It's kind of cute. He tries really hard to stay awake, but ends up nodding and falling over. It's like when he eats too much turkey. Of course I'm watching him like a hawk, but I'm sure he'll get over it. This is the first time he's ever been sick, so it took me by surprise. And i know I'm lucky. I consider myself lucky for just having him in my life. He makes me really happy.

Yep, that's how it goes. And you get a whole new appreciation for them when they get sick. Especially your first one.
