i went to my new/old yoga class yesterday and even though i havent done any yoga in a year, everything was much easier. my body is in much better shape, even though i havent done anything for two weeks except lift heavy boxes and kink my back up. losing body roundness helps a lot. ;]
it also makes me wonder... i was going to the gym just as regularly or more so last year but with a completely different set of classes, yet not in good shape and not losing weight. was i focusing on the wrong kind of exercise? was it simply the weight loss? something in my mind set? more vegetables in the diet? mostly theoretical questions for me to ponder.
its hard to say. this last year has really changed everything for me. thinking about things that bothered me last year seems like a different life. its hard now to imagine i was taking anxiety medication a year ago. i just hope i manage to keep my lessons.
