I've got some tea lights, but I'm pretty sure those won't work in a menorah either.

Probably not. It might make the menorah look wimpy.

Sorry. I'm not a big candle person. I'd love to celebrate Hanukkah with you though.

It's alright; thanks for looking anyway. And great, I'll look forward to seeing you there. It's gonna be a good time.

Jewish vampires are quite rare.

Private - you are! :D actuallyagolem December 1 2010, 19:00:51 UTC
Oh, they sure are. See, what you usually get are golems instead, but I bet you didn't that Jewish vampires are becoming a rapidly-reoccurring phenomena in this day and age. Where you hit the big snag is keeping it Kosher, so most Jewish vampires aren't really orthodox.

The vampires I know don't really do religion anyway, so keeping Kosher is kind of pointless. The Jewishness is a cultural thing though, you know.

Hanukkah's early this year, I see.

Yeah, it is, but it can be kind of nice doing it early and all on its own, instead of coupling it with Christmas. You get a lot more people wanting to celebrate with you this way.

And it's nice to see it get its own time as a proper holiday, I think. I might join you, actually. Not that I'm even slightly religious, but the gathering sounds like it'll be fun.

Exactly. It's got the first bit of December all to itself. And good, I was hoping you'd show up. It's less about the prayers and traditions than just getting the people you like together for a couple hours.

Of course I'll be there! Wouldn't miss it for anything.

I do have candles, though...if you're still needing them.

Good, it wouldn't be a holiday if you weren't there.

Bring 'em! I might need them, who knows?

They smell like vanilla. Hope you don't mind.
