dont get one now. well if ur getting a used one go ahead. but if ur gonna buy a brand new one WAIT!! they releasing the new ibooks in a couple months and there rumors to come in colors there faster and have a 13 in plasma wide screen. soo for more info contact me ;p

If your dad is offering it to you, just get it for now.... Wait a couple years until everyone has a chance to adjust to the Intel Chip switch, and then think about upgrading. Compatibility is going to be a big issue with the new Intel-Macs for at least a year or so.
