Hmmmm...Not Nice!

Since when is it OK to use the F-word in Young Adults lit???? And don't go telling me that everyone says it, therefore it is OK. It isn't, in my book (no pun intended, though that's a good one!)

I don't like when authors swear when they don`t have to. Though, sometimes it creates a character in a book. Maybe she is really angry at the world. I also think that even if you are developing a character too much swearing makes a book not fun to read. You can use milder words like ''crap'' or ''dangit.'' It's also like what you said, this author doesn't have characters that usually swear a lot. That is all.
