[Genis's up and posting requests for the Blessenwood chapter of Ad Libitum on the request board! Some of the requests're more ordinary than others: for instance, the "gather 10 organo leaves" quest makes more sense than the "dress up like a clown for my daughter's 3rd birthday party" quest

[Looks at the board.] ...Oh. W-well, at least it's better than the request I once received from the guild in my world...

... You've had worse requests? I'm kinda afraid to ask how.

W-well... [Of course, there is no way he would tell anyone about that "fight ten battles in a ballroom dress" quest...] ...it just was worse than this, believe me.

It's worse than Mao's scavenger hunt? [Oh. Right. Ruca doesn't know that Genis had to steal some old lady's underwear. We're keeping that one under wraps.]

... That sounds ominous.

...Maybe? At least his list didn't include dressing up. [A sigh.]

I-I mean... You see, guilds in Naraka had a lot of quests that involved testing new types of armors or weapons and you can say some of those were pretty... weird. [Alright, let's leave it at that.]

... Oh. [He can pretty much imagine it from there: he had to wear that catsuit, after all!] Yeah, I get it.

[sighs] Still doesn't explain how these quests get so weird. I'm convinced the people're drunk half the time.

[Better a catsuit than a dress. But yes, Ruca is very grateful that someone understands him.]

[Trying to smile.] I wonder... Maybe they just don't have anything else to do? Or think we have too much of a free time...

Both're lousy excuses. Next time they request something weird, I'm sending them to the Black Dream.

To tell the truth I'm a bit surprised you didn't do that.

Then again, Blessenwood is such a quiet town, I guess we can't really count on serious request around here... Not like I'm complaining.

The Black Dream doesn't visit too often - and sometimes they charge too much - so it's understandable. People here aren't loaded with gald.

[he can't help laughing] Yeah, but it's not bad. I'd rather take quiet over loud and chaotic.

[Please forgive him. His only a rich boy who haven't considered the money issue.] Ah, r-right.

[Nods.] I think so too. I kind of glad it's so quite here actually. It's definitely better than back in my world...

[Genis notices but doesn't say anything. He's used to rich kids, even if they didn't really have them in Iselia.]

Yeah? My hometown was a lot like this. Iselia was boring, but it was peaceful - or it is now - and everyone mostly gets along with everyone else.

Sounds like a nice place. I wish my world could be like that someday... For now it suffers from war and... other things.

Mine was like that for a long time too. [he tries to think of the right words...] It's still like that, but we're doing our best to make it a better place. You know?
