How are people going to live like that? Even gas pumps rely on electricity, don't they?

FEMA might be bringing gasoline in. I want my family to leave town, they're going to be out of power for a long time

Also, the water supply is affected--there's no pressure and the drinking water could get contaminated.

How bad is the flooding where they are?

I mean...is there standing water where they are? With the shit that gets in contaminated water, it could be dangerous to their skin, even.

No, no standing water, just a lot of wind damage. Downed trees and stuff. 4boysmom and her family are staying with a friend who has a generator, because there are downed power lines in her backyard. Middle sister has no power and no water. Parents have no water or electricity. But the stores are open. Also, there is a cool front coming in soon. so that will help a lot.
