[Mod Event] Green Corn Day
Who: EVERYONE (this event is open to all PCs)
Where: Blessenwood Town Square
When: All day
Why: Today's Green Corn Day! Blessenwood's been transformed from a sleepy town to a wonderful farming village thankful for their bountiful harvest. As usual, everyone - even off-worlders - have been invited to take part in the festivities! (Ad Libitum even has its own table at the buffet.)

Green Corn Day had always been a wonderful day for Blessenwood. Even in years of bad harvests, Jogah had showered mercy on them for years and protected the citizens of Blessenwood from starvation. Many of the townspeople seemed to share his sentiment, as the town had been transformed over the course of a few short weeks.
From a sleepy farming village, it'd gradually came to life. Trees along the edge of town had been adorned with whimsical decorations; people hung stars and wreathes outside their homes; AND they'd even hired a local band to play some songs for the public.
Of course, a large feast wasn't out of the question. The edges of the town square were bustling with people as they hurried to finish the last-minute details on pies, cookies, and other delightful treats! (For those who simply couldn't wait for dinner, the Inn and other local stores had sponsored a booth with snacks and drinks.)
Right now? Everyone was waiting for the performance. Every year, they chose a young maiden to perform a highly intricate dance to Jogah. This year, the lovely lady chosen was Anise Tatlin, an off-worlder and a member of Ad Libitum. (Naturally, this meant that the whole guild was invited to come watch her! The standby, Judas, thankfully didn't have to perform today.)
In the middle of town, the platform was ready for everything to begin. All in all, today felt wonderful. Hooray for Green Corn Day!
