And so, because of the gradual but steady increase of the heat and humidity, a great deal of my things have been lovingly folded and put away in my trunk. My heavy cloak, my boots, my scarves, my gloves, my longer skirts.... I mourn their hibernation. But oh well. There is something to be said for bare skin and light clothing

This is true, but the mere fact that it is freezing will discourage me from wanting to swim. Problem solved. =)
