Grandfather...

I'm really worried about my grandfather. He's killing himself. He had a gas-outage today and had to call the gas company and it ended up being a tree that had cut off the gasline. He spent an hour in the heat showing the workers what the problem was, and then they couldn't help him today

Sweetie, I'm sorry I didn't realize things were so bad. Your grandfather sounds like a very determined man who keeps his word no matter what. Now a days people's word doesn't mean anything but that certainly doesn't seem to be the case here. I guess the best you and Joe can do is try to make things as comfortable as possible for them in their home b/c it doesn't seem like he is going to move anytime soon. If need be you can rent a chainsaw from HomeDepo for a day for very cheap and take care of the tree situation if the gas company cant help. You are right elderly people should not be in the extreme heat. Sounds like your grandfather is a pretty amazing man.
Call me today and we can talk the only thing I have to do is finish up that statistics exam. Yeah
