I need sleep.

I am SO SICK of having insomnia. I am on the highest dosage of Lunesta possible - and I still can't sleep! I'm waking up at like 8 or 9 every morning (after going to sleep at about 3 or 4,) then staying up for about 2 hours and then...sleeping again. It's not good for my circadium rhythm (sp?) It may not be having nothing to do, I was the busiest physically yesterday that I've been in months, and was awake at 5am this morning trying to go to sleep. I've had two hours' sleep. This doesn't bode well for staying awake long tonight to drink champagne. :)

In other words...I sympathize.

Insomnia does suck -- and I've noticed that champagne doesn't help one sleep as many other alcohols do. If anything, it makes me MORE awake! Maybe it's the sugar. Or the fact that I've watched "AbFab" one too many times. ;)

Champagne usually puts me out pretty well. Maybe it's the Goldschlager I put in it. :)

I would suggest meditation. You are into yoga, maybe you need to expand that to influence what you eat a bit more, and also how you prepare for sleep. And now I sound like a right nut... I guess at this point anything is worth a try eh?
