My review for tonight's SPN is under the cut. And people who are considering shying away from this because of my last couple of reviews, have no fear, I enjoyed this ep! There is positive-ness under the cut!
Because of the four years, they couldn't have been in high school at the same time. Sam would've been in 8th grade if Dean was a senior, and I know this fo' sho because my sister is three years older than me and we only overlapped in schools for one year. I would've just closed my eyes and said "joint junior high/high, except that kid with the glasses said "three more years and I'm out of here" suggesting they were freshmen.
Little Sammy is the cutest.
I know right?! I want Sam to be happy! I'm currently writing fic where he is, but it's Sam, so we all know how that will end!
Great review and funny, especially your last paragraph and references to Smallville, except, Sam and Dean take their whumapge and don't have to go to the hospital every other episode like in Smallville!
For his part, Dean realizes that he has a viable army of illegitimate children all with different aliases of his on their birth certificates, and so decides to open up a hunter training academy.
You had me laughing like crazy with the imagery. Like a new reality TV show..."Dean's Dozen" or something. :)
Haha thanks, the episode had me LOLing so I felt all goofy when I sat down to write this. And anyone getting hit in the head makes me think of Smallville. It would've been hilarious if they had Sam manage to hide his demon-exorcising power from Dean by Dean being knocked out just before he had to use it! How convenient! Man I wish they had done that.
Dean's Dozen would be the best spin-off show ever! And perfect for the WB - oh sorry, CW. A bunch of angsty half-sibling teens with awkward feelings for each other vying for Daddy's favor. Haha! Twould be wonderful.

I felt so bad for Sam at the end. He can never catch a break, poor guy. :(
