Smallville - Davis' paramedic-fail
Small comment about writer!fail when it comes to Davis. Cutting because there are small mentions to tonight's ep within.
Paramedics don't work that way.
No, seriously. An ambulance is not an ice cream truck, you don't just rent it for the summer and cruise around whenever you feel like it. Davis would only be driving the rig during his shift, with his partner. Paramedics get called out for the emergency emergencies, and they always work in teams. After all, how is Davis supposed to help a patient and drive at the same time?! So did he steal the ambulance? Did he find it in the junkyard and fix it up? And now he keeps dead bodies in it? WTF?
Alright next point. Last week he referred to himself as an EMT. Davis, what does it say on your jacket?? PARAMEDIC. You are not an EMT. EMT's do not dispense drugs. Also, why would the nurse believe that he needed antipsychotics in his ambulance? Or that he was allowed to just stock up when he was there? The jackets have some comapny name on them, so they're not affiliated with the hospital.
Anyway that's been bothering me.
