In looking at a lot of period artwork, I have come to the conclusion that the Renaissance Germans had little to no restraint when it came to decorating their sleeves.

Yep.

The sleeves on this gown will easily take more than double the time of the rest of the entire outfit.

Finally sorted out the math for the rolled pleats, and I think I'm going to finish off the very back of the gown with a round of stacked pleats so if i continue to loose weight over the summer I have somewhere to shift things around if needed. :0 ( Read more... )
