Can you tell me what needs to be done to get an account marked as a memorial? One of my friends with cancer just died and I want to preserve her account. Thanks!

Oh, and sorry it's taken me so long to answer. Hadn't checked that email account in a few days.

Glad we can go over there now and then. My icon is of Harlene's feet:-) We were at Cannon Beach on the Oregon coast. If there are other icons of Harlene's that friends want to use, they should. I know she would be pleased.

Yes, I'm glad they do this. My LJ contact told me that because Harlene had hundreds of entries her journal probably wouldn't be deleted just because it hadn't had any activity for two years, but this way --as a memorial-- we wouldn't have to worry about it happening.
