I'm back to first chair for the next white collar case.

I guess Maria, the new girl (well she's not so new anymore), had such a tough time sitting first chair for the first part of our contract fraud case, she's back to second chair. The trial was really elementary and a slam dunk, but she was careless with a witness and almost got a mistrial

If anyone in the DA's office has their job unjustly, it's got to be her. Actually come to think of it, she mentioned something about the mayor being her nephew. That's got to be it.

My last day at the old place was Friday, but I still have some things to get out of my office there. I should be back and forth between the two on Monday. Lunch would be lovely. I can introduce you to my partner Zack (by which I mean old law school buddy/now coworker and nothing more). I also get to meet the young kids he's hired. That will be fun. I'm trying to think of good pranks to play as it is.

Are we still on for drinks on Saturday? I have a kid-free weekend, so the timing would be impeccable.
