Don't worry about visiting soon, it sounds like you have your own demons to fry for the time being. The party indeed rocked as any party that I attend is invariably rocking :)

life after college was not at all what i expected. it turns out that the diploma doesn't necessarily = supreme wisdom and omnipotence. who knew? but anyway, if all else fails i'm pretty sure you could make a living as a chef of some kind. that meat you made was awesome!

I guess so far it's going pretty much as expected. Jobless and without direction for a little while with hopes of finding it soon. I don't try to dilute myself with visions of personal omnipotence though I do feel I have bouts of it :). You're the second person who has recomended some sort of cullinary profession for me. Truth be told I'm fairly helpless without some sort of recipe, even though I praise Good Eats for providing education towards cooking with whatever is on hand I guess it really hasn't sunk in. If you want to find out how to make the puerco pibil I made you have only to look at the special features on the "Once Upon a Time in Mexico" DVD under the 5 minute cooking lesson. Given that I don't think that the batch I prepared that day was a particularly good example of how it can turn out. I'm not sure what I did wrong, but it's come out much better before.
