Written shortly after his death

Thiazi;

You will never read this because I watched you die. I saw what happened because of me, because of my apples. This letter is my way to make some sort of peace.

I know this did not start because of me. It started one day when you hungered, and convinced some of the others to let you eat an ox. You never liked them very much, I am aware of that. They never liked Father's gifts, you thought the whole lot of them horrid.

The Aesir are not all terrible as you think them to be. I know that your feathers were burned by them, and they killed you, sending your eyes to the sky as stars. I apologize for that. If I had known at the time I never would have left Asgard.

I would not have gone with Loki, I would not have stayed in your cave, or- everything would have been done differently. It is too late to change that now. Every day I still think of you. I still miss you.

I will always and forever wish that things could have been different. I regret the choices that I made.

Love, Idunn
