Somewhere along the way John starts to wonder if he’s made a bad decision. He doesn’t want it to be true; he’s happy with the outcome and certain the alternatives wouldn’t have been as pleasant.
Not that atonal music is ever pleasant, let alone at four in the morning. Or that he’s pleased with finding body parts in the kitchen. But those are tiny, compared to what worries him now.
Sherlock's got himself injured again. And they won't be young forever. What if this is all they are? What will happen if they cannot separate their relationship from their partnership?
