Blah. Unexpected expenses may jeapordize.... Or what I mean to say: pretty much decimated any plans for Australia this fall. Unbelievably sad bout this. Hopefully the upside is two shorter cheaper localish vacations sooner since I need one. Bad.

Divorce stuff snowballed quick. Turns out she didn't pay taxes on $5000 income when we were together so, because we filed jointly, they are after both of us. She totally hid the money from me, told me she didn't have any unemployment that year at all. So now we pushed it on her but the lawyers are going to end up fighting. Add to that the fact that she hasn't agreed to a settlement yet and it's extremely likely we're going to be going to court to settle this rather than walking in with an agreement set already. Every proposal sh responded to 'no'. Not 'no, I want this or this', just 'no'. So we have no fucking clue what the problem is. All in all this is going to result in a minimum of another $2000 I'll be paying in court and lawyer fees, but it also raises the problem that I won't be able to know far enough in advance that I can for certain go to get everything in order like a visa and stuff.

But like I said, the one plus side is that I can take a smaller vacation really soon now, which I need. This stress is just destroying me. :
