I stopped reading LKH after Obsidian Butterfly.

I just got so sick of all the fucking. (Ha! Never thought I'd say that.)

Yeah, Anita Blake is annoying, but she does like penguins, which is cool. She isn't all bad.

oddly enough, i enjoy edward when he comes in..but yeah, i ws hoping there would be more fun with death plots in there ~sigh~ maybe a zombie or two at some point. @~~{~

The early books, which had much stronger detective themes, were so much more fun. Now I'm totally bored with the series.

after obsidion butterfly kinda went downhill ~sigh~ but i agree, earlier books were ever so much fun..zombies, murders, weres, vamps, death threats. @~~{~

Agreed. I used to buy the books as soon as they came out when the series was enjoyable in the beginning. I miss the days when the books covered a few weeks or at least a few days worth of actual action and crime solving rather than a couple days worth of Anita's increasingly blasé sexual escapades.

She's spoiled the series, for me anyway, for these very reasons. I'm bored with sex scenes.
