This is Stephen Colbert we're talking about. It makes me wonder if the staff members who set up the interview (or Wynn himself) had any clue of what they were getting into. I didn't think he did too badly, given the circumstances. I can't tell if this happened after the National Press Corps dinner. (You did see that, yes?)

No, I didn't see it. Watching such things tends to depress me, and make me lose faith in any possibility of improving our government. I find it much easier to believe that there's hope for the future when I'm oblivious to what's going on.
