And I'm back with the sixth chapter of my serialized fanfic.
Title: Long Way to Goodbye VI
Rating: The much beloved T, where characters may swear and possess sexuality, but not so much that I will be banned for posting this.
Summary: Rukia and Ichigo disappeared and, although she tries, Karin has no idea what happened to them. Did Ichigo abandon

This fic is nothing short of amazing. It looks like everything is being set into motion, and everything is going to wrap up soon?
Oh, and the last sentence? LOVE IT!
The only other thing I can say is I wish more people were reading it.

Hmm, I wouldn't really say this is ending soon, although events are in motion and an ending is on the distant horizon. There's a fair number of big questions left at this point, of which I will start dealing with (or revealing, maybe I should say) soon.
...Ah, I wish more people were reading this, too.

Also, I wanted to say that I flailed a little in my computer chair when you said that the Hollow with a sword had a striped tie (and then the other descriptive clues fell into place, but it was the tie that made me realize what I think you're revealing).

Who the Hollow with a sword is probably who you think it is now (unless you're thinking way out there). He's always been a specific person and I've been dropping small clues about his identity since the second chapter or so. The tricky part in this chapter was making it clear that Renji is not fooled by the red herring (although he wants to kill the Hollow, anyways), which I think I maybe could have done a little better. Ah, so much deception.

Isshin's bit was really nice too, nicely drawing in on his roles as doctor, father and Shinigami. Urahara is always crack and mysterious.
Perhaps because this chapter contained so many character insights it's now my fav - Having Chad being all zen warrior and then knocking him down by Karin calling him a dork was win.
Since Isshin didn't seem too distraught, I'm now hopeful that Ichigo's alive - though I have no idea what the hell Renji is up too angst away in his violence.
Same time next week? sweet...

"That uneasy feeling of being watched came fell upon her."

Keep in mind that Isshin doesn't know what happened to Ichigo, although I'm not saying this to dash any hopes.
Thanks for yet another comment, and also for spotting the messed up sentence...mistakes like those happen when I carelessly revise parts and forget to delete the old words I'm replacing.

Ahh. Maybe I'm forgetful, but I don't think a lot of the Isshin was in the original draft. I like it. It's all very... soulful? Now I understand what you mean about Isshin being more of an asshole than a douche.
I think we have bigger problems to worry over, Yoruichi. A few of my past mistakes have been neglected for too long.
And because my head is filled with crack, the moment I read this, Urahara turned into Pepe Le Pew and started cooing, "mon cheri, it is you who I have neglected!" It can totally happen that way, you know. :D

...And uh, okay, about the Urahara thing.
