that's been pissing me off lately as well... it angers me to see "experts" act like assholes to kids who look silly when they mosh. if it's frowned upon to look dumb when you mosh, then what the fuck is the point of moshing in the first place?

moshing is simply going crazy in whatever way the music moves you to... if some kids feel compelled to incorporate some kind of style or pattern into it, good for them, but there is no reason for there to be a room full of kids doing the exact same thing, looking like a goddamn gymnastics team.

moshing is pretty retarded. it's legite, if you actually need to release your energy, but that doesn't mean walk up to someone and punch them in the face..most people who "mosh" want to look tough. i'd much rather listen AND watch a band when i go see them. if i wanted to fuckin dance like an idiot, and not WATCH the band, that's what the fucking cd is for. therefore..for people that most the WHOLE time, why not save money, and just prance around in your room while listening to their cds?
