 I love Fridays not only because it's the last day of the workweek and because we have summer Fridays, but because we get to dress up the way we want. It's a day to express yourself in Haute Couture or Prêt-à-Porter, depending on your sense of style (or as the case may be for mere mortals like us--the size of our wallets).

So one of our authors came to our office and did a book signing. Many of our authors come for book signings, but this is the first one I got to attend.

One of the great things about it is the free champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries and truffles from the Godiva store downstairs, and the fruit plate. I made a bee-line for the strawberries.

Yesterday was my first day of work at the new company and what a day it was.

I finally got to see Ballet Shoes and I was pleased to see Emma Watson greatly improved in her acting! I particularly liked it when she began ordering everyone around her to fetch things. Haha!
