was a bad week overall. andrea was in chicago (and getting sick again and i hate that she's both sick and away from me ). i had jury duty (which is just inconvenient and after it all i didnt even get picked to sit on a jury!), work was busy (really busy), we've been having trouble with a possible aftermarket toner issue and they laid off people and

wait. wtf, they went aftermarket? please tell me not for ricoh/canon/hp? I know a lot has changed since I worked for 'em, but they had aftermarket issues before I worked there and thought they had learned their lesson... minolta/sharp was the only aftermarket shit being used when i left, and i thought those machines were being phased out? crrrrrrrrazy, this cut-throat copier business, eh?

Yeah they went aftermarket for ricoh with horrible results. It looks like we might be getting it fixed out of it being so shitty. We're not a ricoh dealer anymore so I guess there were some issues. I heard lou took legal action for how ricoh was handling our orders and things are supposed to get better as far as getting parts and supplies.

And yeah they are trying to phase out sharps and minoltas but it'll take forever I guess. So many places unwilling to upgrade (but willing to pay skyhigh service costs on older machines...)
