War of the Programming Languages

I've created a new web site called Software Scrutiny for collaborative evaluation of programming languages. The idea is that you post programming tasks and solutions to them in various languages, and then you post write-ups on your and other people's solutions, on languages in general, on particular programming techniques, etc ( Read more... )

I'm in Halifax for Christmas right now, so my contributions might be a little limited until the new year.

I fully intend to get into heated arguments about concept programming metrics vs. the benefits of formalized semantics and provable type systems. (Not that I believe that they're mutually exclusive!)

Are you aware that taking away the "www" in the URL takes you to the hcoop homepage?

You should've configured mod_homicide correctly.

Why, though? Because domains can serve more than www?
