That said, feral dogs are a huge plague in Iraq. They pack up in mobs of 100 or more and attack villages, and snatch small children or anything else they can sink their teeth into and drag them off into the desert. They're viscous bloodthirsty killers and are breeding out of control.
I've seen feral dogs go like that when I lived in a really small town in the southwest. They packed up and killed cattle, horses, sheep, and tried to bring down a few children. We would go out in vehicles with rifles in hand, looking for them to try to take down as many as we could. people who have never been exposed to a run-amok feral dog situation have no clue how bloody dangerous and frightening it is.
