TOTAL CARBON AND NITROGEN!

I'm finishing up the soil pH today which means that tomorrow I get to start the total carbon and nitrogen! I'm pretty excited, mostly because I'll finally be doing something that is largely mechanized and I can spend some time working on my resume, but also because it's by far the coolest measurement I'm taking. what about that grass that grows like three feet a day? i bet that would be pretty interesting to watch for a little while.

have you ever watched anything for 24 hours straight? Even at that rapid (for grass) growth rate, it would still be largely imperceptible. Coming back every hour to check on it, you might notice the change, but just sitting there watching it would still be pretty involving.
