Daylight Savings

So i've been lying in bed the past 15 minutes and I've been thinking about daylight savings time. Why do we do it and just exactly how accurate is it? Orbiting the earth seems like a very complicated thing to me and adjusting our clocks by one hour twice a year doesnt seem like the most scientific way to keep track of time ( Read more... )

I could be wrong....

But I do believe it was started in the 70's in order to perserve engery. So in the spring, there is longer day light hours = less hours of lights being turned on = less engery being used....I also believe Mountain Time does not do Day lights savings.... I could be wrong, so maybe look it up.

somehow the time was messed up, i wrote this post at 1 am. Also, katie im not about to let facts get in the way of a good theory.
