Adam Lambert’s New Single Gets Radio Play

Adam Lambert released his new single Better Than I Know Myself last week and the radio spin data indicates that more than 30 stations across the U.S. and Canada have begun to play the song. USA Today reported that the song had 54 spins last week. Some stations, like Alice 97.3 in San Francisco, are excited to play it, such as today, when the DJ tweeted to listeners, "@adamlambert alert! @jaynatalice is playing the new one in seven minutes. Tune to 97.3FM and dance with her... #love #betterthaniknowmyself"
A website designed and run by Adam's fans called "Request Adam Lambert" has put together a list of the stations that have played the single and urge people to continue to request it at these stations. Although the number of spins for the first week may not seem like many, keep in mind that during the holidays most radio stations do not play new music. According to a radio pitch posted online by a Maryland DJ, the song is set to "Impact POP" on January 30. By then you can expect to hear Better Than I Know Myself constantly and Adam will probably also be doing television and radio promotion.
