I just watched most of the first ep of Everwood.

I'm never taking recs from my lj again.

And I didn't find anyone there remotely pretty. :(

SV is a soap. Buffy, although greater than any other show, can be soapy.

Everwood had nothing in it that at all made me want to stay and watch.

Now, if you tell me the first ep sucked and the rest are great, maybe. But I know the rest of the show will look just like this ep. Which I couldn't even watch the whole way through. And I had to get phone support from leetal.

I like Angel.

I don't have the new seasons on my TV, which sucks, but I still like.

And I don't know One Tree Hill :)

I chuckled at your comment. I haven't seen Everwood, but I suspect I wouldn't like it, just from what I've seen on the ads, and bits of things I've heard about it. Of course, I wouldn't really know unless I watched it, but it isn't tempting me.

I tend to give a one or two ep chance to shows that a lot of people who seem to like things I like, well, like. Made the same mistake with Roswell and now this, but, I think I'll probably keep trying. Some gems can be found this way. Everwood just isn't one of them.

Yes, and you never know, especially with something as variable as television. I don't necessarily like the things I expect to like and vice versa.
