A Forest

I'm expecting crickets on this one, but...

Have any of you had experience with deploying a multiple domain forest using Active Directory as the root forest domain and Open Directory (particularly the flavor used on XServe boxes) for one of the regional child domains?

Anyone? Anyone?

Damn, I thought you might be my saving grace having worked in large multi-OS creative environments. I'll probably end up throwing together an Open Directory server to see how well it integrates... Also just got the Windows Longhorn Server beta 3 for beta testing purposes. Hooray!
