I wasn't at all surprised because it's what we already know and what too many in America are ignorant to.

I have no idea how any person of conscience can support occupation of people in any part of the world.

I'm sure there are a lot of things very wrong with America, but certainly most people don't understand what's really going on at all. That poll is very interesting, and so sad. The US is such a negative influence in the world, and that's a horrible choice that Bush has made for all of us.

I also find it sad that the negative really has taken over all the positives roles America plays in the world but then so often the positive things seems equally to do with self interest. That's not to say that all the positives are out of self interest but it seems to be individuals not in political circles who are doing good things for the right reasons. Maybe someone like Susan Sarandon needs to take over running America.

The only way for Israel to live peacefully in the Middle East is to end occupation. Egypt's peace with Israel is a mockery, my country was threatened and bribed into accepting Isreal and ending war. If occupation ended as Sadat envisaged when he moved towards peace with Begin then true peace could start. Israel is the dumbest country on earth to believe that acceptance will come from other Middle Eastern countries before the end of occupation. It's a no brainer really

It's true and it's not to say that others aren't to blame too but Israel by far causes the most problems, the most violence and is the most of blame for ill will against her.

Peace between Israel and Egypt is indeed false and you're right it could have been real and good for both countries with Sadat's vision unfortunately Israel always wants it all and sacrifices peace for greed.

I agree with that in many ways but not in all ways because Jimmy Carter seemed to deal with it fairly.

It amazes me because I can't imagine Americans so blindly supporting any other country who was guilty of occupation. I agree that they will both suffer in the end if they don't work out what is so wrong with Israeli and American policy.

That's the same as with Jewish Americans, if Israel was home to any other people they would be protesting against the brutal occupation. That's what makes those who blindly support Israel such hypocritical bastards.

I am sick of Americans not having a clue what their money is supporting. How on earth can they send so much to a country that is the evil spawn of satan? What part of occupation are the unclear about? Mind you America started the same way with Europeans murdering the Natives so I guess they are all just the same.
