I was thinking about the duskblade, and was trying to figure out how this Dwarf came to study in a class typically Elven.
The Ungart Clan has a proud fighting heritage. Oddly, it seems every time a dwarf from this clan is born with red hair, he starts to show inherent spell casting ability. Therefore these abnormal dwarves are sent to study and eventually become 'Crimson Magi' (aka Duskblades. i wanted something red axes, this is the best I came up with. dwarves like axes, not longswords)
Olaf trained hard and mastered both his natural spellcasting as well as the way of the Waraxe. Now he looks for adventure that will challenge him and allow him to showcase his unique set of talents.
