Stupid Bill. And his stupid pride. Although I'm really enjoying the Saul/Elosha blossoming relationship! Poor Laura. She must be so heart broken. :(

I have several very nasty words that I wish to use to describe this woman. My super polite Canadian sensibilities are working overtime to try and keep them from spilling from my mind and all over my keyboard.

Saul curled his lip in Carolanne’s direction. “Mrs Adams said Bill could use it; not you, princess. So don’t go getting any of your high and mighty ideas--”

Oh, Carolanne is a nasty piece, definitely. We might need to tone her down a touch...But it's too fun! LOL

Saul's a fun character to write. Despite drinking and generally snarling at everyone, he has a heart of gold and is loyal forever to Bill. And he usually has common sense in most situations. No wonder we see him so easily with Elosha, because she has the same qualities. Despite the religion, she has heaps of common sense and is fiercely loyal to Laura.

I'm glad you liked the finger rub. We couldn't add in another kiss, but felt like we needed some sort of connection for our heroes. All that sniping at each other on the dancefloor -- had to show that deep down they are still in lurve. *sigh*

The whole thing played out before me in glorious black and white and left me desperate for more.

And I am so going to enjoy watching Carolanne get hers, no matter how long it takes, especially after the way she abused Jake in the car. **GRRRRRR**

I <3 Bill Adams and Laura Adams nee Roslin. And the prospect of watching Bill find his way back to her just makes me giddy.

And of course you have employed Saul to great effect. It's sort of lovely how those who really understand Bill's sense of honor and responsibility, including his abandoned bride, are banding together even as they call him an idiot.

especially after the way she abused Jake in the car. This reminds me so much of a funny Australian story. Too long to explain, other than to say no one took any notice of something happening until a dog got hurt, and then the whole nation was up in arms. People can die, but don't hurt the dogs, dammit!

Bill's thoughts about cooking for Laura on their honeymoon just killed me. And when he looked futilely for his ring. I am just so sad for them both.

Carolanne getting spurned was a perfect way to end this. Take that, bitch!
