The reviews are starting to appear. So are the pieces designed to get attention. The Undercover Economist briefly climbed into the top 500 books on Amazon yesterday after some mentions in the blogs. Now the weeks of checking my sales rank every 10 minutes begin... I am having a wonderful time

Would they only release the thing I'd boost your sales by a whole extra copy! I'm amazed at people who are willing to commit money on Amazon to books that aren't out yet, seemingly confident that they won't just stumble across the books in question in a shop before the postman gets around to dropping them off.

I'll probably get to buy two copies since when Josie heard you'd written a book she persuaded me to get her a copy for Christmas. Pretty soon she'll be the best economically informed ex-eco-terrorist in England !
