Something is very wrong.

It feels like i've been catching up on things since before Christmas. I think I might be getting close to "caught up." Work has been sucking lately.

Band stuff is going really well. The new Lujo records website will be up soon. I encourage everyone to check out our new "band photo" and "bio." We don't play by the rules.

I live in Seattle. Almost all of my family live in Indiana. In fact, on the entire West Coast, I have only one family member... Sometimes I forget how lucky I am to have such a great sister.

Yesterday... Queen Anne Hill. How chaotic/uplifting it was to see a bunch of crazy people on their sleds, skis, snowboards, and various other sliding devices. I had so much fun and I was alone. The police were trying to stop everything and gained no ground. Good times.

There is snow everywhere... inches and inches. There are only 6 of us here at work today and we've been having good times with snowballs and such. We went to Taco Bell and there were cars spinning out and general confusion. It's funny to watch people after a good snow storm.

We're playing at Consolidated Works tonight, close to guitar center. The show is a benefit show called 'Rock Aradia' and I think they booked us because they thought we were a girl band. All of the other acts have women in them? Maybe our name is misleading? We've actually played Ladyfest twice. I saw flyers and ads all over town for the show ( Read more... )

I finally get to see my nephew this Christmas. He looks like a pudgy little one from the pictures I've seen. I haven't seen most of my family since last Christmas, I think. we have a show at Ground Zero tonight, and at the Vera Project tomorrow night so we practiced last night. Lately I've been paying all of the band expenses on my own: insurance, web-hosting, gas, etc... We were having a band discussion about the bills, and our bass player FREAKED OUT.
