For classics, I highly recomend The Great Gatsby or 1984. For something that's just hillarious but true, you MUST read Stop Dressing Your Six-Year-Old Like a Skank. :)

I'm reading the Dresden Files books by Jim Butcher right now and they're really good. I've already gotten through Storm Front and Fool Moon and am reading (well audiobooking this one actually) Grave Peril, but I think there are 8 or 9 in total.

I've been reading Cornwell's Sharpe series at the moment. If you like historical military fiction, its da bomb.
