My home has not been the happiest place the last few days and it's probably mostly my fault. All I can think about is the move and everything that must be done in a now very short time before we can leave. Needless to say I'm stressed. And when I'm stressed I get snappy. That leads to bitch-mode and that leads to an unhappy Max

I wish there was something I could do to make your holiday better. I know how you feel. my mother swipes my children for the summer and the 4th just dose not feel the same without the family block party, fireworks, fighting with my brother over who is doing the BBQ ect.

But hey look at it this way, you are moving soon and you have an entire year to make ready for the next 4th. Make some friends and throw your own party, invite everyone. When I left home and got married I had to loose a lot of the little family traditions i had with my mother and brother. i was sad for a long time but after a while we learned to make our own.

I do not know of this will help where you are going but there is a web site called craigslist and we have furnished our entire house from it. You would be suprised what you can find in the free listings.

You would not *believe* how excited I am about throwing parties. We already have a handful of friends up there and this may sound crazy to some, but I cannot wait to cook for everyone (or at least anyone that will eat it). I LOVE BBQs and our roommate has a grill! Yay!

First off.. Frank was the one who slept with another first so me sleeping or being with Chad shouldn't matter. At least I waited longer then Frank. And for Chad's post on his LJ. That was fully not about me. Ask him yourself. I have only been with Chad once. Just becouse I am moving on with my life shouldn't mean anything to anyone else but me and Chad.

when becky and i were getting ready to move it was way stressfull too so i know what you are talking about. the 2 weeks she off before we needed to be in virginia were so hectic that i could hardly enjoy the time we had to see family and stuff. it will all work out though and soon you will be settled.

that dinner you described making sor max sounded great. i am so jealous i won't be there so we can have BBQ's. i love them but we can't have grills in our apartment here.
