Sorry, I guess the structure of the post was confusing... the neat idea was the Stephen King thing. I thought it was neat because the group is so large and unwieldy that people have trouble figuring out bday gift ideas and usually end up just buying shots (as I often do). But I figured this was a good idea for a cheap selection of stuff people can get me that I want/need and do not have. Or I could just be plugging the gift thing for my own benefire. YOU be the judge...

It's not so much confusing as I am retarded.
I guess because you said you had a neat idea about your birthday...I assumed it had something to do with what you wanted to do for it, not for gift ideas (hooray for books!)
