It's funny how the truth tied to things like that simply dawns on you one day.

No one was angry about what you did. It was the way you reacted that was bad.

Funny thing is that though that situation factored into that statement, I just happen to put my foot in my mouth (or whatever the action equivalent to that is) not realizing what I did or said was offensive quite a lot haha. So it wasn't specifically about that.
