The last time I posted I was 14

Hellooo again! Zena, 16 now, COLUMBIA Missouri! Since the last times I've taken another trip to the piercer, gained real friends and a life, traveled hella, done many things to my hair, my mother left my evil stepfather and we now live in gorgeous Columbia(where we visited before) with the founder of the freeschool I now attend and help run!

Oh lawd. I woke up at 10:28, stopped my alarm, took this, and then slept more...

...Until 11, when I decided to get up for good and SING PIPETTES IN THE SHOWER! & brush my teeth, all that good stuff.

Keeping in mind that the weather was ridiculously hot, I got dressed in the lovely gorgeous long sleeved shirt my friend stenciled onto.

Toothpaste made my smoothie taste like shit :I AND I overpoured it. Looks weird but it's deee-liteful, banana ♥ soymilk ♥ spirulina powder ♥ ice!

My mom wakes up and starts freaking out about the computer not turning on at all, which quite frankly made me flip the shit until I realized something was simply unplugged.

Then I flipped the shit some more because my camera ran out of batteries and I thought we were out.. "oh no, how will I document going to the store to buy more?!" Luckily I found some in the charger. Henna'd hand is leftover from staying at my friend's for like 3 days in a row.

Crises averted, I pet my 17 year old possibly-dying-soon cat that I've had all my life and love dearly. She was doing really bad last week.

Until mi madre informed me that she brought a bunch of my belongings back from my ex-stepdad's house(they seperated hell yes I loathe him entirely!), so I sorted through them for eeeeever.

I started cleaning my room too, and I found an old Nylon that I read while eating some stale cinnamon rice cereal thing with soymilk. Bleh. At least my bowl is adorable.

After that I decided to try to put up a lovely collage on my wall! But I got interrupted,

For my mom is leaving for a retreat thing in Seattle, so I have to take care of our ~companion animals~ for a week... starting with the chinchilla! She gave me a leetle demonstration.

...But then I realized it was like 4:10, and I had a tea party with my friends scheduled at 5. SHIT. I bake, it's what I do, I wanted to make something marvelously delicious and impressive so I made her run me to the store...

Madre was displeased. (check how different she looks from my last posts. +tattoo, -hair!)

...For some supplies I needed. For Strawberry-Rosewater-Lemon Cobbler!

As rushed as we were, my mom stopped and handed me 40 bones. This NEVER HAPPENS, we're pretty poor, but it was for 'groceries while she's gone(yay! I can cook without worrying about her getting something gross!)'. And cat food. (but it's actually because she doesn't want me getting caught shoplifting while she's outta town.)

We return home sweet home, BUT ALAS! There is no time to bake! Woe, oh, woe is me.

Since I gave up on making food in time, I decided to move all my crap from my (broken, ugly) camera case to my badass old sugar skull purse.(We like sugar skulls in this family, can you tell?)

Change goes in the eyeee jaaaar.

I do my hair and makeup, grab some badass tea(from the food bank even!), and we're out the door~

But mom reminds me that I can bring the strawberries by themselves, riiiight. So I wash them and this happens, blah.

We make it just in time to my leeeeeeetle(turned 13 today) friend Rose(-a-dor)'s casa, she hosts all our teaparties. We met at our hippieass freeschool community thing, ROOTS... everyone did, actually.

My beautiful friends running to say hi~ That's Rose and Mad in the back, and Quanah(14) and Allia(16) forefront. Or, Quallia. They are ridiculously adorable(Allia is my BFFFFFFF and I used to have a monstrous crush on Qtip until they began... dating.. oh well, I still love them and they're very important friends). We actually ran to the park across from Rose's, then realized we had no tea! So we all ran back to get the food and fixin's.

The park is a school playground actually, and in front of one of the doors is this RIDICULOUSLY COMFORTABLE MAT. "It's like foot sex!"(Henna foot is Allia's! She did my hand, I did her foot.)

The spread. Note how I'm the only one who brought something *moderately* healthy. And the only one who drank tea...

Tess(14, who stenciled my beloved shirt) and Allia~

A couple of the leetle girls broke off into a gossip circle. Pfft, abandoners.

Quallia tried to teach me how to whistle with blades of grass, but still I can only make elephant noises!

Allia showed me a chalk drawing she did the day before! With her mom, awwww.

This prompted Q to do one of his own, 'cause Allia brought her chalk againnnn!

Chalk free-for-all. Writing our tags in chalk, bahaha. It degenerated into marking on eachother's clothes and various body parts, all fun and games untilllll

TESS HIT ME SQUARE BETWEEN THE EYES WITH CHALK, FUCKING OW. ;o;

It started raining, the chalk was getting washed away so we just turned into a laughing pile of love.

Quallia escaped from the main group eventually(they always do), we found them like this on a faraway picnic table. Yes, those are daisy chains. ADORABLE.

After like two hours everyone started departing, so we did too... (she was saying 'hey, where's Q?' and had no idea he was hiding behind that shed)

On the way back, I cracked wise at Tess... and got TOLLLLLD.

Tess went home and therefore missed out on our bee corpse discovery, Quallia continued walking with me.. different destinations, same direction.

Up until just now, anyway. I knew the person in that car! I don't know who it was, but I heard 'HEY ZENA!' and saw a hand waving?

Oh dear. That's the time I started walking home. On the way a woman on her porch that I passed called out, GIRL IS THAT YO HAIR? REALLY? IS THAT YO HAIR? uhhh, sure.

Made it home in time for shitty beans & rice dinner. I love cooking! gah! I'm so sad this turned out to be a lame food day. All was boring with my beautiful family until Liz(housemate, left) tried on my glasses and acted teacherly.(it's hilarious because she founded ROOTS.)

My friend Ely called! He went to ROOTS as well and I was madly in love with him until he also went out with a different BFF, and then moved to South Carolina, but we are best of friends and we're making a badass horror movie when he comes down in July. We talk every day, plannin' it! I'm head of special effects, yay corn syrup!

He has to sleep, so I finally get on my beloved computron! For the first time that day, somehow?!

But after a little bit my family decides to take Liz' dog(and our cat, who followed us) on a night walk to our local park(different one), and I cannot resist!

We get back, and it's so humid. My sister Ruby(6) and I are totally worn out, so we just chillax on the hood of our car a couple minutes.

We ended up having an adorable 'drawing contest' that turned into a 'collabamoration' that turned into 'let's just put this on the fridge' that turned into 'draw a spiderweb on my head sissy! wait, make it a bat!'. Ruby wrote CAT BALLOON all by herself.

My follower kitty made her way back from /her/ walk.

Everyone else is sleeping by now, I hug and kiss my mom goodnight more dramatically than usual because she's leaving for Seattle the next morning, I'm not gonna see her for a week.(That was this morning, sad sad)

More computer dicking around. Made a huge new playlist, had my nightly solo dance party, and worked on a logo for my ~*vegan cupcake business*~! Anybody got tips on how to smooth out the black oval outline(or, run a cupcake business)? And all the linework, really? It looks like crap up close.

Washed away the daaaaaay(THAT IS A STYLISH HAT. Not a hairnet. I'm wearing a shirt.),

wrote down the daaaaaaay,

and crashed.

I so want to do this more often, it's the bessssst way to document your life's changes.
