Anjelica, 25, living in South Korea.  I used to post here as ladieaj, and I usually posted days where I made cannoli or tamales.  In this day my boyfriend and I travel from Jeonju to Daejeon to deliver our foster puppy to her new home.

What a cutie Elise :D and such a nice story about Clementine, it's great she could find a new family that will love her :)

And I'm a bit curious..... how was it the trip to SK for Elise? I mean, when I went there I had a direct flight for 12 hours.... and when I go home I take my cat and it's a bit more than 3 hours and she's kinda stressed, so I'm always asking people about how their cats react to flights lol but kudos for you deciding to take your cat!!! Was it easy to find a place where you could have a cat? my idea there is that people are more into dogs, I didn't even see a cat in the streets :s

The trip was not that bad! We were traveling for almost 30 hours when you count layover times (I had to catch a connecting flight). But we spent about 19 hours in the air total, 9 or 10 hours in airports, and then 4 hours on a bus. She was very very quiet until the last leg of the trip when we were on the bus, and then she cried the entire 4 hours.

It wasn't too difficult to find a place that would let me have a cat, but my resume is very competitive. I just brought up my cat on interviews and made it clear that we were a package deal. My area is overrun with street cats, though! I see no less than 10 a day.

What a tough decision to give Clementine up, but it sounds like the family you found that adopted her will give her a really good home too.

It's about a million degrees here, so I think I need some bingsu in my life, like RIGHT NOW. Omg.

And Shane does look a bit Yubaba-ish in that picture, ha ha!

It really was difficult. Even now I wish it didn't have to happen :( But I know that in the long run it will be better for her.

Bingsu and ice cream are basically how I get through the summer!

He really does! He has the hugest eyes and his eyelashes are sooooo enviable, I can't handle it.

Oh such an emotional day you shared with us! I can imagine giving her up must have been hard, but it sounds like she's with a really nice family now =)

You must! I miss talking with you and reading your entries! Do you have kakao? I messaged you on whatsapp the other day but I recently realized that whatsapp doesn't always deliver messages.

I know what you mean! I really miss Clem and I feel sad about it still, but when she was here I really missed Elise, if that makes sense? She avoided going near me and wouldn't accept affection, most of the time. It was really hard because Clem wasn't really "doing" anything to her, just existing in the house. That was a huuuuuuuge deal for me and I think in a lot of ways it was the nail on the coffin.

Things are really small in my area! I think that some areas might be bigger, but I live in the center of the city so space is really limited because people tend to want to live here. Also, though, Shane and I have economy apartments because they're paid for by our jobs.

Thanks!

How do you like it?

A bit off topic, but do you know where the Mexican restaurant is? I was told to go to Lotte, find the Holly's Coffee, turn left at the GS 25...but I did that and didn't find it! Did it maybe close? It's possible that I was meant to go to Lotte Mart instead of Lotte Department though.
