On the plus side, my son is graduating Navy bootcamp in mid-August (hopefully).

As some of you know I was recently in the hospital for a (relatively) minor procedure related to a medical condition I've had since my early twenties. Although it was nothing life threatening or really all that serious, it did and has given me time to ruminate on things.
