[Private]The melons were surprisingly effective, weren't they? It isn't much, but I'm glad that I now know my name. I'm an Ootori, and my family is, as I'd surmised, wealthy. We own and manage hospitals in Japan, which does seem like an interesting profession to me, as hospital management could hardly be easy. Still, perhaps it gives me something ( Read more... )

KYOUYA. My melon wouldn't open.

I tried jumping on it and it didn't do anything so I gave up. Maybe I should have dressed it up or sang to it or gave it a hug or - OH NO - what if it just wanted to be doted upon like any lovely princess! P-perhaps I should have offered it a rose.

Why yes, it was most likely a female melon and it was insulted that I didn't treat it like one! WHAT SHOULD I DO!

I do think the methods of opening them are fairly random.

Why don't you try all of those things you suggested and let me know if you have any success?

((Using Tamaki to experiment? Never!))

Really?? Well yes, I think I will try all of those things! I must! I must apologize to the melon and treat her as I should have in the first place!

Can you think of anything else, Kyouya?

((oh dear.. this might end up bad. for Tamaki, that is. haha.))

Try focusing your efforts on the rainbow and blue melons? I don't know how those work yet. I've heard those respond well to being charmed.

I'm really interested in learning how they work, honestly. If any of them start to shake or act strangely, will you come find me? I'd hate to miss a chance to see it.

((Kyouya wants all the melons for himself :( Then just watch him recover the memory that he actually likes Tamaki and feel partially bad))

Oh, you got one to open? That's good.

I haven't had much luck myself. Fiddled with them a big with Ginko, but I guess I just don't really have the patience for it.

Yeah. It certainly does take patience, and can be frustrating if you don't have the technique.

When it comes to the green ones, water seems to do the trick. Boiling salt water, to be specific. The red ones break from physical force, but I haven't had any success with those.

How did you manage to break the melon?

Oh? I tried a lot of things. It seems over time I just wore it down. The red ones, I've noticed, seem to break from physical force.

((I-it's not exactly a lie? But he broke one of the green ones with boiling water. He just won't tell just anyone))

I don't care for that sort of information. How about anything on the green ones?

[[ooc; unfortunately, that is the sort of information Sasori wants. xD Someone's already told him, but hey, he's taking extra steps.]]

Why do you assume I'd know anything about the green ones?

For that matter, it seems strange that you'd trust what I say at all. We don't know each other, after all.
