There is an open mic poetry reading this Friday at Barnes and Noble, 8:00 p.m., and I've been wanting to go since I saw the sign (maybe two weeks ago). They've had these before; a poet comes and reads his/her work, then the other poetlets go up and read their inane work, everyone gets applause, and life is good.
