Well, she would've met various Chandlers when she was young if she was going to social functions. Just not Geoffrey, as he apparently doesn't do most of those (he experiences some sort of nasty allergic when forced to wear dress robes, or so he tells me). She might've met the twins this way (though Gillichu would have avoided her, probably, and Addie would've avoided both of them no matter what as she doesn't like kids and they're significantly younger than her anyway), and probably Sophia, who is a NPC so it wouldn't matter any way (though she would've been at school at the same time as Addie, only about, um. Five, six years older... and in a different house...).

Geoffrey wants an excuse to know her (or at least get to know her). How much does Addie care about fashion, etc.? Perhaps they've run into each other (or could run into each other) at Sophia's shop. Never mind that she'd whap him for hitting on her customers, he claims it's her way of showing affection...

hmmm. yeah addie is rather big into dressing up and she tends to love dresses so i think it's a safe bet she's been to the store.

I think she was in the same year as dax-hoppus. He's just completed his first year outside of Hogwarts and he's working in Mungos. It's entirely possible he calls down to her during his breaks or something. They could've got to know each other as friendly rivals during quidditch or summat?

okay so after thinking how she would have been with jack i totally can see addie snogging zak. she probably wouldn't have noticed him before and she probably would have snogged him even if she did know his year (which worries me).

dax and addie were academic opposites. both purebloods. addie's dad was arrested and thrown in azkaban when she was a 5th year. she's very obviously adamantly against death eaters but never gets involved she hates them because she hates her dad. ... soooo i think that they knew each other deffo. especially due to pureblood stuffs. she probably was like "meh" about him. maybe snogged him a couple times but overal they were never friends or anything

Her 4th and 5th year she would have known Seth from quidditch.

I think she and Jack would probably have met her 4th year when he would have been a 3rd. He hung around the quidditch field a lot during practices and stuff (As did Jesse, really, though not necessarily by choice... at which point he would have been the cute baby Martin brother, heh <3) because hanging around the quidditch team was a good way for Jack to meet girls, which was starting to be a high priority for him at 13. Puberty, and all that. So he was probably still a bit awkward that year... he probably thought Addie was cute as hell, but I imagine that she probably wasn't all that interested in him, with his cracking voice and probably pimples, and being a little gangly

well addie assures me that she normally doesn't go for younger boys but she also says it depends and if they're all about snogging she's really not one to decline.

So yeah she probably actually hit on Seth the whole time they played quidditch and then noticed Jack once he became worth noticing (totally addie's words not mine).

I'd actually say she kept slight contact with him because she really hasn't changed much so she probably kept his number for...um.... booty calls.

It's quite possible that she thinks of him as a friend since they never had any notions of romance together.

Hm. I just kinda figured that if he was still at school there wouldn't be much of a chance for said booty calls, so I feel like Jack would have fallen out of contact with her rather than the other way around, as he undoubtedly had other things to occupy himself. So if she contacted him, he probably filed it away as "Oh, right, should call her sometime" but unless he met her out face to face somewhere he probably never got around to it. Plus that leaves it open for a sudden resurgence of friendship, yay! (And conflicted-ness for poor Jacky boy since he has always omg thought Addie was hot but now he has an almost sort of girlfriend so any fooling around should surely be out of the question...)

Okay, backstory! They definitely would have met at social functions and maybe not exactly liked each other as children? I'm thinking hair pulling and shin kicking here. Also, Addie and Marcus' younger brother, Finnegan, might have been in the same year.

After Marcus graduated the 'lost contact' and just recently ran into each other again, realising that the other wasn't as plagueish as they remembered?

i'm for the hating thing; it'd totally give a different twist to them. sooooo. they probably met at social DE gatherings and while Addie may have been like "oooh boys" she probably hated him just because of where they were when they met.

i've always said that addie was talked about (not in a nice way) by purebloods since she's such a "disgrace" to her family. It's kinda why she became such a slut (her own version of spin control).

So, Marcus heard about the 'disgrace' gossip and that caught his interest perhaps? The slut thing wouldn't strike him as interesting 'cause he probably thinks that all pureblood females are more or less sluts. XD
